- 200 g of cottage cheese
- 145 g of white wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 egg for brushing
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds for sprinkling
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 2Blend the cottage cheese until smooth and homogeneous. In a large bowl, mix the blended cheese with the flour and baking powder. Knead until you get a soft and slightly sticky dough, then continue kneading for at least 4 minutes to make it elastic.
- 3Divide the dough into 4 equal parts (approximately 80 g each). Form each piece into a ball, flatten it slightly, and make a hole in the middle, shaping it like a bagel. Place them on the tray, brush them with the beaten egg, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- 4Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the bagels are golden and nicely browned. Let them cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
