The Benedek family founded their meat processing company in 2008, which began operating under the trade name Benedek. The company's activity in the food sector was exceptional, in a location that housed a slaughterhouse in Gheorgheni since 1977. Our tasty Székely Flat products have been manufactured in this location ever since. In addition to pork products (including Mangalita specialties), poultry, horse meat, sheep, beef and game specialties are also available. Because it is very important for us to maintain the health of our consumers and their families, we only manufacture products without additives or preservatives, using the traditional method of cold smoking. We have always been attentive to meeting consumer expectations, complying with legal requirements, food safety, hygiene and environmental regulations, as well as the ethical and moral standards that are prerequisites for a successful business.
