Discover the refinement of French oysters with this exclusive tasting box, which brings to your table three exceptional varieties:
-
4 pieces Fine de Claire: Delicate oysters, with a fine texture and a subtle taste, grown in old salt marshes transformed into "claires", rich in phytoplankton, offering a unique aroma.
-
4 pieces Spéciales GEAY: Considered the queens of oyster parks and the favorites of the GEAY family, these oysters are carefully selected and cared for over 42 months, to achieve a crunchy flesh and complex aromas.
-
4 pieces Friandise: Marine jewels with a sweet and delicate flesh, ideal for those who appreciate smaller oysters, but full of flavor.
Suggestions for consumption and preparation
Enjoy them raw, with a dash of lemon or a mignonette sauce, to highlight their natural taste. For a gourmet experience, accompany them with a glass of dry white wine or champagne, creating a festive atmosphere.
!!! Consume only if the shells are closed. If the oysters are open, they are no longer recommended for consumption !!!
Recommended assorted products
They go perfectly with fresh lemons, crispy wholemeal bread and aromatic herb butter. Try them with a quality white wine or brut champagne.
About the producer
A story born from tradition – The GEAY Family
The GEAY family has been active in the Marennes-Oléron basin for over 140 years, continuing to redefine excellence in oyster farming. The story begins in the small port of La Tremblade, in Charente Maritime, where Eutrope Geay and his son George, the pioneers of the family, stood out in the local markets due to their charisma and the exceptional quality of their oysters.
After World War II, René Geay, the third generation, took the reputation of oysters beyond the borders of the region, delivering them to prestigious fisheries throughout France.
The legacy of this know-how was carried on by Patrice Geay, who perfected oyster farming techniques and developed new ranges, such as “Fine de Claire” and other noble varieties, increasing GEAY's reputation nationwide.
Today, the GEAY name is synonymous with tradition, refinement and respect for nature, offering an unparalleled experience to oyster lovers around the world.
