BauckHof ECO Gluten-Free Jumbo Rolled Oats
Consciously enjoy gluten-free - the popular organic rolled oats from Bauckhof are now available as jumbo flakes. Since jumbo flakes are much more resilient than small flakes, they offer you even more variety in your gluten-free diet. You can use the gluten-free flakes as an ingredient in your own muesli. Important for jumbo flakes: they need to be allowed to swell a little longer.
The oats for our gluten-free organic flakes are grown and processed without any gluten contamination. We have each batch analysed in the laboratory for gluten freedom and guarantee less than 20 ppm gluten. The food law states: "Oat products intended for people with gluten intolerance must be manufactured, prepared and/or processed in such a way that contamination with wheat, rye, barley or their crosses is excluded; the gluten content of oats may not exceed 20 mg/kg (ppm)".
Each batch is checked in the field, directly after harvesting, after pressing and after packaging. The gluten analysis takes place in addition to the standard tests to ensure organic quality.
Organic oats differ in their protein structure from wheat, rye, barley and spelt. This means that people with gluten intolerance can also include pure, uncontaminated oats in their diet. We ensure freedom from contamination through a set of rules specially developed together with our contract farmers. The precautionary measures in cultivation begin with seed cleaning and end with transport to the mill.
Cultivating oats on our doorstep is important to us. We maintain long-term partnerships with regional organic and Demeter farmers and are proud that we are helping to expand the organic area every year through the sale of our oat flakes.

People with gluten intolerance can include oats in their diet. In England, the USA and Scandinavia (especially Finland), uncontaminated oats have long been used in gluten-free food. However, people with coeliac disease are advised to integrate oats slowly and gradually into a gluten-free diet plan. Oat flour is ideal for preparing porridge, for breakfast with milk, juice or curd cheese or for baking bread, rolls, biscuits, cereals etc.
The oats for the gluten-free oat flakes are grown in a special project by a long-standing partner farmer. The oats are not contaminated with gluten-containing cereals, both in cultivation and in processing. For Bauckhof oat flour, we use raw materials that are produced in controlled organic cultivation.
