Hass Avocado (usually ripens in 2-3 days)

Hass is perhaps the tastiest avocado variety. When they are not ripe enough, the fruits are dark green, but in a few days, left at room temperature (for example in the fruit bowl in the kitchen) they start to acquire dark maroon - violet to indigo shades and become just right for consumption, with a buttery and delicious core.

How to use

Intended for immediate consumption. Due to its creamy pulp and nutty flavor, ripe avocado is best suited for salads, as well as for various spreads, dips and other delicacies. It can also be sliced as an alternative to fresh pastry butter.

Or try a quick guacamole recipe. Mash the avocado with a fork, add lemon juice, season with salt and mix. Then cut the tomatoes, red onion and chili pepper into small pieces. Mix and add crushed garlic if desired. Finally, add ground cumin and coriander to taste.

Storage conditions

Refrigerated at temperatures between 4-7°C to keep it at about the same level of ripeness for a few hours or a maximum of one day, at room temperature to enjoy it ripe and delicious.
