Beef heart is a less common cut, but very tasty and versatile if cooked properly. Here is how you can cook beef heart:
Ingredients:
Beef heart, Salt and pepper, Olive oil or butter for cooking, Optional seasonings (parsley, garlic powder, thyme etc.)
Instructions:
Preparing the beef heart: Rinse the beef heart under cold water to clean it. Remove any membranes or blood vessels from the heart, if present. Cut the beef heart into slices or chunks, then pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Seasoning the beef heart: Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the heart pieces. You can also add other spices or herbs to your liking to give it more flavor.
Preheat the pan or grill: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat or a grill.
Cooking the beef heart: Add olive oil or butter to the pan and heat it up. Add the heart pieces and sear them for about 2-3 minutes per side. Depending on the thickness of the heart pieces and your meat doneness preference, adjust the cooking time.
Adding optional flavors: If desired, you can add additional herbs or spices during cooking to enhance the flavors.
Resting and serving: Once cooked, let the beef heart rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat and maintain a juicy texture.

Storage conditions

Refrigerated product Class A. Storage temperature: between 0°C and 4°C. Cook before consumption. Vacuum packed. Color and smell may be influenced by vacuum packaging. The product will regain its natural color and smell within 15 minutes of opening. Consume within 24 hours of opening the package.
