Limes are less acidic than lemons, yet more aromatic. A single lime can contain up to twice as much juice as a lemon.
Minor surface defects of citrus fruits are caused by weather and twig whipping during fruit growth. However, they do not affect the taste and quality of the fruit.
The peel is not intended for consumption!

Usage:
Lime is widely used in cocktails and salad dressings. Lime juice enhances the taste of salads. Its juice can be used to marinate meat, in which case the meat no longer needs to be salted. In Arab countries, limes are pickled in the same way as cucumbers in Central Europe.
Their peel is used in the same way as classic lemon, for sorbets and desserts.
Lime can be used, for example, in a recipe for shrimp cocktail with apples and lime or sea bass nigiri with a slice of lime.
Storage:
Store the lime in a cool, dry place or in the refrigerator. Do not expose them to direct sunlight, as this will yellow their peel and reduce their characteristic acidity.
