Premium, whole blanched almonds from California. Almonds are the seed kernels of the almond tree, which is cultivated in subtropical and warm temperate regions. Blanching (from the French blanchir “to whiten”) is a technique that consists of briefly immersing the nuts in boiling water. This makes the skin easier to peel off.
